 Where does my order ship from?

A: Your order will ship from right here in the shop, in lovely Lawrence, Kansas.  Everything is under one roof.  ...and that roof is covered in awesome solar panels, but that is a whole other conversation!

 

When will my order ship?

A: We ship orders daily, weekdays only.  If you miss today's cutoff time, don't fret!  It will go out tomorrow.  You'll be using your new Sunflower gear in no time flat. 

 

I need my order ASAP!  Can you do it?

A: We do not offer express shipping through the online store at this time.  All orders are shipped as a standard "Ground" delivery. We can guarantee that orders are processed and shipped on a daily basis, but we have no control over it once it leaves the store.  Shop early to be sure, or if you are in a real time crunch, call us at 785-843-5000 and we can expedite orders over the phone.

 

 What shipping service do you use?

A: Ya know, that is a good question.  We are figuring out what works the best as we go.  We strive to use the service that is cheapest for you, cheapest for us, and most effective.  Depending on how things shake out on any given day, you may receive your order via United States Postal Service, or UPS.

 

Local Pickup and Local Delivery Option

A: You live locally and would rather drop by the 'Flower and pick up your order and pay no shipping?  Awesome!  Just select the "Local Pickup" option, and we will hold on to your order.  If you are a Lawrence resident you can also select the "Local Delivery" option and pay only $2.00 for a Sunflower staffer to hand deliver your order, probably by bike.  Please allow 2 business days-- just in case.

 

 Can I ship my order express?

A: At this time we are not shipping express through the web-store.  If you need your order right away, please contact us directly at the shop (785-843-5000) and we will make it happen.

 

I went to check-out and I found you won't ship to my location.  What gives!?

A: It might be a special circumstance where we need to do some extra shipping work on our end.  Contact us by email or phone and I bet we can make it happen.

 

Do you accept returns/refunds?

A: Of course!  We are reasonable people here at the Sunflower, and we certainly want you to be happy.  There are limitations to our return policy though, so we encourage you read these terms.

Returns
Our policy is to give you 30 days on web-store purchases. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 
Items purchased in store at Sunflower must be returned in 14 days for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.  Gift cards are non-refundable.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, which will have been included in your original shipping package.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the credit card or PayPal account used as the original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If we notify you of a refund, but you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.  Please be patient as this processing time can take a few days.  We know, it's frustrating!

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded.  Unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We encourage you to check out the sizing charts before making any purchases.  We can exchange for different sizes, but we can not guarantee we will have the item in the exact size you need. 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sunfloweroutdoorandbike@gmail.com.  Once you hear from us you can send your item to: 802 Massachusetts Street Lawrence, Kansas, 66044.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, the refund will go to the original credit card or PayPal account used to make the purchase and the gift giver will find out about your return.

Remember, please include your receipt.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 
The time it will take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary depending on your location.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
